NATIONAL EMPLOYER BRAND LEAD – SENIOR MANAGER      PWC AUSTRALIA

PwC Australia is a behemoth of the professional services world, with all the employer brand and reputation management facets that such status brings. Growing a team from 1.5 FTE to 5.0 FTE in 12 months, I’ve significantly raised the profile of proactive talent marketing and content-led campaigns across the business. From an early campus careers campaign that brought in more than 18,000 applications to multiple domestic and international campaigns to secure hard-to-reach talent, I’ve brought new processes and approaches to the business’ understanding of how talent marketing works. I’ve also managed and grown my team to expand and enjoyed their continued excellent feedback on their performance across the business, embedding the function within each line of service while still combining the team’s talents to run a whole-of-firm paid media strategy. As an in-house creative resource, I’ve also consulted on projects from our global brand relaunch, the launch of our Signature Experience engagement program, our internal Learning Academy, and our Together Anywhere flexibility policy, to name a few.

 

EMPLOYER BRAND MANAGER – APAC       OPTIVER ASIA PACIFIC

Optiver is a proprietary trading firm with a focus on selective recruitment. With no clients and little brand exposure to the public, the Employer Brand Manager role focuses on building awareness, trust and advocacy within internal and external talent pools. I launched more than 30 employment-related videos, a podcast, and a range of digital and social campaigns to achieve this aim. I created targeted recruitment and brand campaigns for specific talent pools, redesigned vertical-specific EVPs, candidate personas and messaging, and designed onboarding materials to build early employee engagement. My role also covers campus comms and marketing, using paid social media, multi-channel digital promotion and on-campus events to cut through and get the talent we need. I’ve brought new ideas to the team, including a VR choose-your-own-adventure office tour, the Ready Trader One interactive competition, and a fully redesigned employee referral program. As the core contact point for internal and external marketing, the role was varied and involved a great deal of stakeholder management and engagement with our other offices.

 

DIRECTOR      FLOURISH CREATIVE

Flourish Creative is my consulting agency. I offer freelance strategy consulting services to clients, from scoliosis clinics and life coaching companies to professional services firms. I also consult on creative projects and tenders and fill skill and knowledge gaps at agencies as a contractor. I have worked alongside internal teams to deliver content marketing and digital advertising solutions and run strategy and brand workshops. It’s basically how my friends rent my brain.

 

COMMUNICATIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER      THE FINITE GROUP

As Communications Manager, I managed five brands across six websites and seventeen social media channels. I took ownership of content curation and creation and updated the agency’s digital footprint and marketing materials. I built a content marketing strategy, deploying a content marketing framework to keep clients informed and candidates applying. Liaising with teams across eight offices to provide local marketing support, I was involved in everything from event support to e-blasts, tender creation, and all aspects of the company’s public face. I managed multi-channel paid social media campaigns and content distribution.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT DIRECTOR      HISTORY WILL BE KIND/DEEPEND

I led social media efforts for a diverse client base, spanning the Deepend and History Will Be Kind’s stable to deliver social media campaigns, content marketing and creative strategies. My team and I won great new clients, including Brown Forman, Aspen Pharmaceuticals and Cheapflights, and delivered great content-led projects. I oversaw critical client communications, led and managed a new reporting framework, and expanded the agency’s offering into 360-degree video, cinemagraph/GIF production and animation.

 

SOCIAL STRATEGIST/CREATIVE & CONTENT DIRECTOR      SOCIAL@OGILVY

I was first a Social Strategist, looking after specific clients, and then the creative lead across the Ogilvy PR client base, leading the client and content teams to craft strategies, campaigns and daily content. This included working on key clients such as Atlassian, Microsoft, SAP, KFC, Ford and more, as both a strategist and then as Creative Director for the social and PR businesses.

 

DIRECTOR/PRINCIPAL STRATEGIST      WORKING SOCIAL

As a contractor and director of Working Social, I contracted as Head Of Social for advertising agencies Reagent and Unimail to address all social media needs and provide digital and creative strategy.

 

TALENT COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST      ONESTEEL

I worked as part of an Attraction and Selection team, which covered multiple locations. I delivered employer brand campaigns, serviced daily recruitment needs and managed social media channels for the business and the wider HR community.

 

RECRUITMENT MARKETING/PEOPLE COMMS MANAGER      SINCLAIR KNIGHT MERZ

Working to serve 17 locations, I oversaw all employer branding campaigns, graduate campaigns, social media and internal communications for the HR team. Through the GFC, I kept our employer brand across our regions, working with a global team of recruiters and sourcers to strengthen our internal talent and improve our market offering.

 

I’ve also worked in advertising agencies specialising in employer brands, and retailers doing TV and catalogues, and am a qualified baker.
